Backup & Disaster Recovery
Complete protection for your digital assets — from M365 user accounts to entire server infrastructures, on-premise and in the cloud.
Your Life Insurance for Data
Minimize downtime with strategies that truly work in an emergency.
User Accounts
Secure Microsoft 365 and SaaS user data against accidental deletion and threats.
Infrastructure
Full image-level backups for Physical Servers, VMs (Hyper-V, VMware), and Cloud Instances.
Ransomware Defense
Immutable backup storage ensures your data cannot be encrypted or deleted by attackers.
Protecting what matters most
Modern businesses rely on a mix of SaaS applications and infrastructure. We cover it all.
User Accounts & SaaS
Don't rely on the recycle bin. We provide comprehensive backup for Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams). Granular recovery allows you to restore single emails or files in seconds.
Servers & Virtual Machines
Whether it's a file server in your office or a fleet of VMs in the cloud. Our solutions capture the entire system state for rapid disaster recovery.
On-Premise or Cloud
We adapt to your architecture. Choose the target that fits your compliance and speed requirements.
On-Premise Target
Keep backups local for lightning-fast recovery speeds. Ideal for large file servers and strict data residency requirements.
Cloud Target
Leverage the scalability of the cloud. Direct-to-object storage backup eliminates local hardware maintenance and ensures off-site compliance.
Frequently asked questions about backup & disaster recovery
What is the 3-2-1 backup strategy?
The 3-2-1 rule says: keep three copies of your data, on two different types of media, with one copy stored off-site. It is the proven baseline for surviving hardware failure, ransomware and site outages.
What do RPO and RTO mean?
RPO (recovery point objective) is the maximum tolerated data loss; RTO (recovery time objective) is the maximum tolerated recovery time. Our solutions are designed for target values of under 15 minutes RPO and under one hour RTO — the exact values are agreed per environment.
Why does Microsoft 365 data need its own backup?
Microsoft 365's recycle bin and retention periods are not a backup: accidentally or maliciously deleted data is gone for good once retention expires. We back up Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams with granular restore of individual emails and files.
What is immutable storage?
Immutable storage is write-once backup storage: once written, backups can neither be encrypted nor deleted for the configured retention period — not even by attackers with admin rights. This makes backups ransomware-proof.
Which systems can be backed up?
SaaS data (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), physical servers, virtual machines (Hyper-V, VMware, Proxmox) and cloud instances — as full image backups or granularly. Backup targets can be local (on-premise) or German cloud storage.
